Start by slipping your boot liner inside the Boot Duck, like you would put a sock on your foot

Carefully insert your protected boot liner into your boot shell.

Be careful for sharp edges inside your shell. Avoid cutting yourself or puncturing the Boot Ducks.

 Be sure your liner is completely seated in the bottom of the shell. Observe the excess material at the tongue.

Tuck the excess material inside the shell for a neat, snug fit.

To extend the life of Boot Ducks, locate any sharp edges and hardware inside the boot shell. For example, T nuts shown here.

Apply a strip of electrical or similar tape to protect the Boot Ducks from punctures during insertion and removal of the boot liners.
